Your Renagade is an exact copy of my 2010.(Natural Green Pearl). I live in central FL and have never seen another Renegade in this area. Mine came with Select-Trac, skid plates, 16" all terrain tires, blacked out head lights, but not leather or sat nav.

Someone here was commenting about poor sales being the reason for dropping the trim option. I have access to US national vehicle registration information, I ran a query and that's a fact. The registrations for Jeep Liberty Renegades are extremely low. I see 5 2010 Liberty Renegades in Wyoming, there are 3 2011 year models in the state. California - a state that typically accounts for the largest count of registrations - only has 43 2010 Renegades. In contrast, there are 1,445 2010 Liberty Sports and 471 2010 LTDs. There are 193 2010 Renegades in Michigan but there are only 18 2011 Renegades in the state. MI has 5,755 2010 Sports, 865 LTDs. Renegades really do have extremely poor numbers. MSRP estimates say the Renegade was priced similarly to the Limited, that means price wasn't a major factor. Is it possible the Renegade trim level was a limited release? Certainly it wasn't pushed very hard.

I'd say this is reason enough alone for a manufacturer to drop a trim level. It's a shame too, because I think the renegade trim looks pretty good.

Reason there are alot less renegades is bc they made less. I love mine..my opinion is it is the best trim of the liberty...but now for 2012 the arctic will be my favorite

Thanks for the info Jeepster-D.

Amazing that I am only one out of 193!

I'd say that if dealers ordered more, they would have SOLD more. But I don't think it was meant to be a wide release... but at the same time, it wasn't advertised or pushed at all.

Looks like renegade was an option starting in '10 only - for liberty that is. I see no registrations for earlier year models. I'm only looking at 2008 and newer though ...

The KK Renegade only lasted for two model years... 2010 and 2011.

Jeeps are pretty popular in the northeast in general. I always see ads saying the cherokee is the number one selling suv in the northeast.

I did a search on cars.com for used 2010 renegades in a 500 mile radius of me in NY and there were only about 5 for sale. It would seem that not only does NY have the most renegades but also that they must be happy with their purchase.

The total US vehicle population for Renegades was something like 2010: 1600, 2011: about 500. Don't recall the exact count but these numbers are pretty close.

marlon jbt, how is the ride with the lift and larger tires? I've heard good and bad on the Daystar lifts, just wondering what your opinion is. I'm hoping to do a similar lift and tires soon as the current tires wear out. BTW, your truck looks great!
Thanks in advance!

I recently purchased a like new 2010 renegade (black) in Denver at a VW dealer, they were having trouble selling it in their market. I found it on the internet and traveled over 200 miles to check it out. 1 owner, 19,000 mi. made offer, traded in other vech. drove it home. Wife loves it!
