putting 31/10.5/15r on liberty will they rub?

i installed a daystar 2 inch lift in my 2011 jeep liberty (KK) and i have made the decision that i want to go with 31 inch tires, will i need back spacing at all and will they rub?

Only certain 15" steelies work. I forgot what backspacing they need though. As for fitting the tires....you'll need more lift. Daystar doesn't give a true 2", and even on 2" you'll probably have some rub. I'd say 2.5-3" atleast for the 31s.

Two issues with that size and a Daystar
Not enough lift....you need 3-4 inches or REAL lift NOT assumed lift
Plus you're going to lose power and mileage and will need to regear
As far as running 15 inch wheels some fit some don't some black steel like Soft 8s will but have to have 3.5 inches or so back spacing 7 inches wide
IMO better to stay with 16 inch wheels/ 245-75-16 tires with that lift
Now when you upgrade the Daystar lift, which 99% do in short order, then you can look at different sizes

Not the best suspension choice. If the rims fit, the tires might still rub the inner fender closest to the bumper. Many people have trimmed that area.

I'm rubbing a little with 30x9.5 tires and felt a noticeable amount of power loss, and I'm at 22" at the hub. To get 31" to fit, need a lot better lift, and regearing is an absolute must.
