Picking up my KK tomorrow. What Next

Hi everyone

So Im picking up my first jeep tomorrow. 2012 KK Sport 4x4. Im pretty Stoked. Im not sure where to go from here though. I wanna start with a basic run through and service everything. The truck has 24k on it and I know not much needs to be serviced. What would you all recommend I do to make sure my new purchase is in top shape?

Buy a warranty incase u have any problems in the future .

Congrats, make sure you review your warranty if you don't have one invest in it. Feel free to download the User guide and maintenance schedule. I'd say check the oil and have the tranny fluid checked.

First of all welcome!
Switch to synthetic motor oil.
Check underneath the Jeep for rust.
CHANGE THE SPARK PLUGS (original equipment NGK plugs work best)!
Make sure you get an extra key.
Take lots of pictures for us!

Congrats. So at 24k and a 2012 I assume it still has the original warranty on it. Be sure to test drive it paying close attention to any vibrations. I am fighting one now with only 40k on the clock. I suspect it is the front drive axles and intermediate shaft. An issue that has come up. Also, go to a self serve car wash and hose it off. Look for water leaks around the rear glass. Again, mine has that issue as well. From the looks of things it's had the issue for a while. If the original owner had bothered to look, it would have been fixed under the original warranty. Now, I'm doing the TSB for it out of pocket and the parts (weather strip) are $140.00. Other than that what others have posted as well.
