Not starting with ETC light on

I really hate seeing this light.

The first couple times were a bit odd. The ETC light would come on when Id get in and try to start it. It would start but then the Jeep immediately began shaking pretty rough. Took it to the dealer and they couldn't find anything.

Now the past two times the light has come on the engine won't even start not even turn. Lights & everything worked, it just wouldn't start. Took the battery to get tested and everything checked out. Put the battery back in and it starts! Today same thing except I didn't remove the battery. Had a friend take a look, he popped out the ignition off draw fuse, popped it back in, and it starts right up.

I read up on the fuse a bit and most seem to be saying it controls lights & such but im wondering if it has anything to do with it not starting or was it just a coinsidence it started after I messed with it?
