Non raised side bar question..Please Help

So my KK does not have raised side bars, meaning there is no gap between the side bars and the roof of the libby. Many of you with roof racks have side bars that except any crossbar, and have this space that I am talking about. I am curious to know if anyone else has looked into a crossbar for a libby that has side bars like mine and if so where did you buy? I have attached an image of my side bars so you know what I mean.

Check these out...

Yea except that doesn't answer my question...those are replacement side bars...I don't want to spend the money on new side bars and crossbars. There has to be crossbars that work with the sidebars I already have.

Doubtful. They are really just for decoration. Mainly just hollow plastic with no attachment provisions.

As far as I've seen no one has done it yet. Those "rails" that you have a very flimsy. That's what mine came with but I replaced them with the RRO rails. Atthehelm is also making some very nice rails for the KK and probably even better quality than RRO

The only other option I can see is get the cross bars that go into the door jam and bypass the rails all together.

Those side rails are just decoration. You need to replace them with either Mopar side rails or aftermarket to put cross bars on and actually have a roof rack. I suggest either Rock Lizard or Atthehelm's.

They are hollow on the inside and won't be able to support any weight. I had them as well and removed them for the RRO bars. I wish I had seen atthehelms products before I made the purchase.

So if you don't want to replace you are SOL
