nitrogen

when I got my truck the dealer had put nitrogen in the tires and pin stripping...I didnt want that crap so i refused to pay for it. I told the salesman you wanna put it in all the jeeps you have in the lot? fine but you are eating it Im not paying for it. Any way, my low tire light came on. Can I add regular air to that? or do I have to let it all out and then add air. I refuse to pay the price for nitrogen.

Yes, you can mix at will without problems.
Look it up.
Nitrogen in tires is a crock of shat, salute for having enough sack to stand up to the dealer's BS.

It's funny about nitrogen. 80% of air is nitrogen. They want us to pay stupid $$$ for the other 20? I don't think so!

Pretty much. If you had an aircraft, or raced stock car, etc, I can see the need for that kind of stability. I wont waste my time or money.

Nitrogen is more stable than regular air, keeps the tires at a more even pressure. If you never check your tire pressure its worth it otherwise no.Its mainly sold because of the extra $$$ it brings to the garage.
