New-no nothing about jeep liberty limited 2008

Ok, I know nothing about cars, jeeps. My alarm goes off, wipers on, my washer to the windshields drain then the washer motor burned out. Wipers go on, lights flash. Now wipers have stopped working. Test light from pos. bat. term. to motor casing yields no light on tester. Test light from neg. to motor connector when run on, engine not running, wipers on at high yields no light on tester on.

What else can I do find out what is causing the wipers not to work ?

Thanks
G

fuse? Not sure if liberty has em but in the past I had a vw that had a relay switch that went out. i would imagine there is something similar that may have possibly blown.

make a good electrecian check your fuses panel and connections . a traditional multimeter would solve this issue .
