So update on the jeep... I took the pink plastidip off since every girl and their mother is doing pink i went a different route.. i ended up getting it vinyled instead because the sun faded the plastidip completely to the point it was almost white looking.. here is before and after from pink to....

Almost looks orange in the pictures. Where did you have the hood decal done? Locally or yourself? I want to put the decal on mine.

Nice. If you dont mind me asking, how much did the hood cost and how long did it take? I am on the island as well and been wanting to do the hood like the renegade. Just didnt trust myself to do it myself and or the durability of using the plastidip to do it.

He had charged me $300 for the hood, center console, and the letters on the side of the doors which is the most affordable i have gotten on the island. I was ripped off from phenomenal vinyl and is why i didnt use them. 631 coatings they are nothing but helpful; i dropped my car off in the morning around 10am and they told me to come around 3pm to pick it up (they were really busy). They were on point with pick up time though i came at 3 and my car was done.

I did the plastidip myself its a bit of a PIA plus the fact that it faded less than a year kind of upset me but i knew it wouldnt last, I know the vinyl wont do that. A positive the plastidip lasted me through several car washes and was easy taking off as long as its warm out it comes off 1,2,3. I still have black plastidip on my car actually all of my "jeep" emblems on the hood and on the back are all plastidipped black

Well then it works out ok...you can lower the truck so you can jump over it on the horse. All is forgiven.

You can always plastidip the exhaust tip if you don't like the chrome. That's what I did to mine and it's still holding up. I also have the Gibson exhaust.
