New Jeep Owner

Great site you have here!

Well, after being a GM loyalist for 20+ years, and a Chevy one for the last 12, I am now the proud owner of my first Jeep, a 2010 Liberty Sport. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with it overall. I was a bit hesitant going with a Jeep, but it sure beats a Ford!

I am well OTW to accessorizing, having had the black tubular steps installed today, along with the roof rack crossbars. Next is the SS door sill covers and mud flaps. At some point I would like to get a bull bar or brush guard, but the choices seem somewhat limited, at least in the black/powdercoat look. Is the stock Mopar tubular grille guard worth the money? It seems kind of...unsubstantial?

Anyway, happy to be here!

Welcome to the Jeep Community, and to Jeep for that matter. Good luck on your search for accessorizing your Jeep - It'll take a bit, especially with it being a new model. Think of it as a blessing though... you can get new parts/mods/accessories as they are introduced. It beats having tons of options to modify everything... the money will dissolve, lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

VMF, I love the look of that bull bar, but how much would it cost to have it PVD'd or painted? Think I could do it myself?

If not, I will likely go with something like what this member did:
