New diff covers

I need to change my differential fluid soon and figured I'd go ahead and get new differential covers at the same time. Any recommendations? I had Ruff Stuff Specialties on my old ZJ. They make them for the axles in the KK. But I don't know about the clearance issues. Any help would be appreciated.

For the rear Chrysler 8.25 get a Solid Axle Industries cover. Don't think anything can be had for the front IFS set-up.

I got the PML and it hits the panhard rod. I like their stuff but you need to grind off two fins for clearance.
Basically that whole top fin has to go

I just tried this, you can't put one on the front, and the rear has minimal clearance.

I just put my stock ones back on and said F it.

I'll check out riddler. It seems the front one should be more important. You hit that first

I don't think there are any for the front, besides it's kinda protected by the bracket. Take a look under the front end you'll see what I mean.

The front is stationary and the skid plate protects it. Also, the front cover is made pretty well. The aluminum is fairly thick and it has a drain plug. The rear however is stamped crap. I'd like to replace mine too.

2010 KK Sport, Detoures Knucklebone & backbone, smittybilt XRC 10, rigid led lights, R/L sliders & rack, cb, EMT2, R/K 15x7, OME, JBA, mopar skids & hitch, headlight covers, 4.10's and TruTracs

X2 on Riddler,but for the rear as you can not use any aftermarket cover on your D30M.Plus being a KK is IFS no need for a beefier cover on a diff tucked up and out of harms way if you actually bought and installed the front skid plate.

No skids on my sport. It's on the list of things to do (will definitely be done before I hit any trails)

I just had a good look at my front dif. It seems my memory was playing tricks on me, the front dif cover is stamped crap too.

You can't touch the front diff if you have the factory skid plates.

Drednot, idk how you're KK managed to stay so clean underneath. I understand cleaning, but here on the East coast we get surface rust on anything that stays not painted almost over night. The humidity kills us!

The skids come right off. If you haven't had them off yet, it would be a good idea to remove them and put antisieze on the threads of the bolts. The threaded portion where the bolts go are nutserts and can cause real problems if they get stuck on the bolts.

Its Arizona...one of the reasons I moved here was to get away from the salt and humidity
