Montezuma Basin CO

Took the liberty up to Montezuma basin here in colorado outside of Aspen. There were some sketchy parts the last time i did it with a friend in his 82' CJ7 (he did fine) that i was worried about with the liberty. Especially with no skids ... But she did beautifully and i didnt get stuck, hit any rocks, or sustain any bumper damage. Amazing how truly capable she really is,

Awesome Pics !! That's one place I would love to Jeep. Unfortunately, my Lib is stuck at the dealership for the next 2 days for leaking rear seals on the motor. I am not too happy with only 24K on the clock. The funny thing is when they pulled the trans from the engine a ton of beach sand fell on the tech. The dealership asked me if I offroaded at all on the beach. I said a little. They told me one thing didn't have to do with the other, but did ask for a trans flush, I said sure.

Nice pics Sagerist, what is the difficulty of that trail? We haven't made it to Maroon Bells or that area yet, so may be tempted to check it out.

Here's the link to trail damage that gives the full run down of the trail. It's pretty tame with some
Minor technical stuff.
