Looking for a little help for the 2012 Liberty. The buttons on the lower switch bank (hazards, seat warmers, etc) do not work and turn on/off. Cannot find a fuse, relay or any information in owners manual or on line. Concerned that the hazards don't work, my teenage boys share this Jeep. Thanks
Is this something you've had addressed at your Jeep dealership at all in the past? Have you experienced any other electrical concerns with the Liberty?
If all of the buttons aren't working, I would suggest pulling the face plate off (just held on with metal clips) and making sure the pigtail to the switch bank is securely fastened. The switch bank is a unit that can be replaced if it is broken, but hopefully the connector is just loose. Here are some directions for taking that center bezel off: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=36253
Thank you, I took the face plate off and discovered that there was not pigtail connected to the lower switch bank. Don't know why, but someone before me connected two pigtails to the upper switch bank. I disconnected the one that matched the lower switch bank, plugged it in and now everything works! Thank you!!
Hey, so glad this worked out!!! Love it when there is a $0, 100% fix for a Jeep issue. :smile2:
