Lower ratio Nitro rear end for KK?

Would the 1:3.21 rear end used in the Nitro with the 4.0L V6 fit and work in a KK with the 3.7L? Would the lower ratio seriously affect street performance? It should boost mpg, right?

Believe it or not,but the 3.7 has a better top gear ratio. The top gear for 3.7 is 2:57.The 4.0 is 2:95.So you would lose mileage with the 3:21.Plus you would lose bottom end.Its not worth it.The 4.0 has the 5 speed thats where the differance is.The 3.7 6 speed has the 3:21 with a 2:70 top gear.
