LIBERTY passenger door lock problem

My girlfriends daughter has a 2008 Liberty that the passenger side auto locks will at times while driving down the road will lock and unlock or at least try too. Has any one ever had this problem? and if so what was your solution to the problem? Any help would be appreciated. I myself think something is shorting out. Thanks in advance for your help. I'm an XJ man and live in that forum pretty much. Thanks again.

Have none of the Libertys been known to have a problem like I explained?

Mine has never done that, but I saw another mopar product do that when soda was spilled on the switch panel and started making the switches stick internally.

I haven't heard anything like that before. Was the vehicle ever in accident or was ever flooded?

Might need to take to a local shop or dealership?
