KL vs. KK ! ! !

Saw the new Cherokees when I drove by the dealership last night. Had to take my friend to work this morning so figured I'd drop by to get some pics. One thing I have to say is that I was not at all impressed with how small the Cherokee is. I'm 5'10" and could see over the roof no problem. Very cool to see in person and hopefully I'm the first person with their KK next to a KL.

I think the slanted part is the daytime running lights and the headlights are below it.

I want to like the new KL mostly because its a Jeep and I'm glad the Cherokee name is back... But I just can't...

I'd still drive one over the 1st gen compass

When I drove by last night I wasn't 100 percent sure if it was a Cherokee or an Escape. You can't deny they look similar.

I dunno, I have to be honest, I've seen some videos of the Cherokee Trailhawk and I'm not sayin I'm sold on it - but it is growing on me. Granted, I've yet to see one in person to trully assess.

My wife absolutely hates it.......lol.....says the front is hideous.

It's a Fiat with a 7 slot grille. If you can even call that a grill....

Yeah - I was actually just looking at it some more on the interwebs and pics posted up in here on JF.

Like I said - still haven't seen one in person.

But - I think I just decided that I'd never own one mainly because it reminds me of this:

The only pictures I've seen that I like are a 3/4 rear angle shot. It doesn't look too bad there... for something other than a Jeep. Nothing about it says Jeep.

The liberty looks so masculine and muscular next to the cherokee. Im sure it will appeal to the masses but id take a newer compass over that anyday.
