Have to press my remote key lock several times sometimes when locking my Jeep. Think the battery is getting low....what do you think? And, where would I get a battery.....have to go to the dealer??????

Pop the battery out and have a gander at it. It should say the size.
For example, ThunderbirdJunkie's old style fob takes a pair of CR2016 batteries.

You can buy the battery at any store that carries the small thin batteries. (wal-mart, CVS, target....)

I agree sounds like a dying battery. Check this out YouTube - Amazing Car Remote Mod! Couple guys on LOST tried this and got decent range off of it

Mine has the same problem, but only with the unlock for all doors, sometimes it will work 100ft away and other times i have to press it repeatedly right next to the car. It's been bugging me for a while, do you think its the battery for me too?

Most Likely, i dont worry about it too much, i have the Viper Alarm and Remote Start system with a 1 MILE RANGE and sometimes i have to hit it twice when im next to it lol, i dont worry about it because it works after a couple tries

Go to your auto parts store, (Auto Zone) they sell batteries but are more expensive than Wal Mart. The store by my home has a test unit, just push your button and it checks for RF strength.
