Had the Dark Charcoal Grey 2010 Liberty Sport 4x4 for a few weeks. I like it so far...could use more power and better mpg but I knew that when I bought it.

The night I bought it...wasn't even snowing when I arrived at the dealership and they had just detailed it.

Home in the garage after the maiden voyage.

This is what I traded in...1999 Cherokee Sport 4x4 with 152k on the clock...

Nice. I know how you feel. It snowed the night after I picked up my KK. Took a lot of pictures of it in my garage while it was as clean as it ever will be before taking it out the next day in the snow.

The day I picked it up - still looks just the same. Sorry for the low quality picture, need to get it out for some good shots!

Does that make it scratch-proof? Personally, it's kind of ugly, but maybe doable if it's exclusively your off-road machine and not your daily driver so you don't have to worry about scratches on the trail.

The OEM skid plates are bulletproof. Anyone who says they are rubbish hasn't tested them. I just was on a trail yesterday much too advanced for my Libby (Rubicon's were struggling at points) and forced to go over a river of rocks so big that I equate it to a boat sailing down a river of rocks. At no point was I not using my skid plates and I was coming down HARD on these rocks. It was almost a joke for a stock KK to be on this trail and I didn't puncture a single skid plate and the only underbody damage was a few small dents to my muffler.
