Where they're placed there's almost no airflow... so, no whistling.

Folks at the University of Georgia tested five various frequency tones to see how deer reacted to these sounds. They showed that deer within 10 yards of a road did not alter their behavior when these sounds were played. Thus it appears that deer whistles probably won't have any effect on deer behavior, and thus, will not reduce deer-auto collisions.

Depends on how they are put on. Screws or tape or glue?

I'm pretty certain a lot of air gets in that region.
It's the front of the vehicle, and right behind the passenger headlight is the scoop for airflow to the intake...

True, but it's all disturbed air.

I suppose one could go with the powered version instead.

Nice Jet! Is it 4x4? I have an 11 jet. I swapped wheels with my wife's KJ as her 4x2 had much better wheels to accommodate me and these wheels look great on hers. These stereos rock!

Ya it's a 4x4. Bought the car in New York and drove down to California with it last week. Obviously the gas wasn't great, but the drive and yes stereo system is amazing!
I want to blacken the wheels but since there Chrome wheels wasn't sure if that would look good. Any suggestions?

Plastidip. The chrome rims actually look really good black.

Would anyone else recommend some mods to make the car not so "cougar" like? I want it to be a bad *** car. Open to hearing some suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

I'd paint the wheels and grille black.

Yeah, black plastic dip over all chrome. I'm partial to black and white.
