Too easy...except for the "self-taping" bolts. I ended up using a tap. And I put them in a little too high on one side, looks great from the side but looking underneath you can tell one side is not quite as flush as the other. I've got a bunch of pics and will do a write up.

2008 jeep liberty (KK)

I was thinking about adding 1.5" wheel spacers onto my liberty KK for more of a sturdy look. Do you need a lift in order to use wheel spacers?

I'm guessing you mean 1.25 (Spidertrax). I have them on mine. Ran them on stock suspension with no problems and still have them on while being lifted.

Found a pretty cool spot to snap some pictures. Repainted my grille and gas door.

Hi guys! Glad to finally join the forum after lurking here for a few months! Just got my new Libby 3 months ago. Its a 2012 Sport. Black forest green. Definitely need new shoes for it soon Haven't decided if I want to remove the bull bar and put on a brush guard, or keep the bar and mount some lights on it. Definitely going to do a daystar lift and put on some AT tires, and change the stock radio to an aftermarket gps/dvd/bluetooth head unit.

Welcome to the Forum! If you wouldn't mind some advice a few of the Jeepers used the Daystar lift with the stock suspension and about 6 or so months down the road had some issues with it using the stock suspension. It is up to you. I have about 60K on my stock tires and suspension and might do a spring, upper control arm change, and shock change as well as some boots. JBA arms, OME shocks, springs and Michelin LTX AT2 tires 245/75 r16. I am probably going to wait until autumn of next year if everything hold out all right.

Nice KK. You're fairly close to me and a bunch of other Liberty owners. Definitely do a TON of reading here about lifts. Most recommend avoiding spacer lifts, they may be cheap, but you then have to add in the price of shocks. After all said and done(doing it the "right" way, for a spacer lift) you're very close to the price of just doing a full spring/shock lift and getting a better, longer lasting lift(along with a better ride).

I definitely appreciate the advice on the lift. Still a rookie :/ Having said that I will do research into a full spring/shock lift. Any recommendations for me to check out? I would agree that I see a bunch of people here are fairly close to my location. You guys ever get together and do some off roading/meet ups?

Ugh so many things on the list to do need to save up some $$$ Still undecided on how I feel about the chrome mirror covers. They came like that from the dealership and I don't see any jeeps around with those but I wonder if they are too "blingy" for the tough zombie invasion response jeep of death look that I am going for in the future.
