New to forum, and new 2011 Liberty Renegade

Just got it yesterday.

Got the Class III towing package, Nav package, comfort group, power sun roof, and of course the deep cherry red. I used to have a Wrangler Sport in the late 90's but had to give it up for the growing family. My 9 year old Land Rover was on it's last legs so --- I'm back!!!

Enjoy the pics. Took them just after a heavy summer rain storm.

first time Jeep owner; I haven't had a chance to take good photos yet...these are the 'not so good' dealer photos from the internet listing;

2011 Liberty Sport with factory trailer tow package & sunroof...she's gonna remain stock with the exception of a few minor add-ons to include a Hitch Hauler cargo carrier, a hitch mounted bicycle carrier, front tow hook(s), and perhaps a removable hitch-mount winch for dragging stuff around at hunting camp

@tb - nice! Glad to see another red Renegade. I was worried the black hood decal might get old but I convinced myself it works with the red well.

@km - Black was my second choice. Looks nice.

thanks for the replys, its salsa red and looks really orange in the sun. i was actually surprised that my wife liked that color. she likes to be a bit different and said she loves it as she hasn't ( up until yesturday) seen a jeep in that color. what really sold her on it was the sun roof, she could have cared less about the hp, or the cloth interior or anything else. the huge rag top sunroof made her fall in love. i could have put a ferrari next to it and she would have still gone for the suv. this is not technically my first jeep as i owned a 95 zj for a few months last summer ( offroad toy), but i never really used it. so far i like it, the lack of hp blows as i'm used to the almost 400 hp on my ram 2500. its good for her as it has slowed her down, she was like speed racer in her 3.5l v6 altima. i'm interested to see it goes in the snow. also not sure if we want to put a small spacer lift and a bit larger tires on it.

Congrats on your Jeep :] I bought mine July last year and love it. Previously, I had an 06 Altima 4 cyl auto. Nice size sedan I had the sport package on it. I changed the oil every 5K with full synth oil and only used premium gas. At about 80K it burned 1 qt of oil every 3K miles. In additon, the speedometer with stock tires was off by about 5-6 mph at 65mph, and got worse the faster you drove. (At 65mph you would were going 60-61)
On the hand, my gf had an 08' Infinity FX 35. Most comfortable seats, as long as you didn't mind them making a grinding noise when they moved up and down. And with 22K on the clock it also was burned oil. Oil changed at correct intervals. Both cars are gone and someone elses problem. I think if you melt down 2 Nissans you might have enough metal to make a single Jeep LOL. It's definitely a better way to use metal :]

i still have the altima, has almost 140k on it. i use it now as my commuter car. tranny has been slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear since 75 k. my titan was an absolute piece of ****. i won't buy another nissan as long as i live. i'm going to run this altima into the ground. as much as i hate it, its better than putting 35k a year on my brand new ram 2500.
