KK Front Passenger Clunking Noise

I've done some looking around and can't seem to figure this out. I installed the Daystar spacer lift about 400 miles ago and noticed about 50 miles after install there was a clunking sound coming from the front passenger side. We've been meaning to get underneath to look at it but have had snow on the ground for the past few weeks.

Anyone have this problem before? Any idea where to start when I finally get a chance to get under there? I just had surgery on my right shoulder so I actually won't have a chance to get to it right away, so if you think it's serious and needs to be taken on to a 4x4 shop or dealership let me know. Thanks.

Need more info. Is it when you are going at any speed? What about reverse? What about at full lock?
Have you had an alignment after you installed the lift?
Expect negative replies about the Daystar lift.

Id think you'd probably need to first check the install. If it wasn't installed correctly it'd cause an issue.

Sorry for lack of info. Again, I haven't had a chance to check into this yet so I was just sending this out to see if anyone else had heard anything. This happens when I'm driving and hit larger bumps, potholes, etc. It happens at all speeds, we have to drive over an angled curb at the end of our driveway and it happens then even at just a few mph.

I don't want to hear negative reviews of the Daystar, I am well aware that everyone hates them and they are horrible and your Lib will burn in flames as soon as it is installed lol.

I need to go through and recheck all of the bolts and make sure everything stayed tight after driving it a little bit. The clunking is passenger side only.

Definitely check all bolts. If it's a simple clunk it might be your sway bar links. Mine was loose when I first installed and it clunked going down the road. If it is more of a "boing" sound similar to what a spring makes, then it could be your a-arm hitting your springs. I know with my 3.5" lift and al's a-arms I get spring contact on my driver's side when I hit big bumps.

I know you said "you" installed the lift, but was it you or a shop just for clarification.
Did you remember to install front bumpstops?

You're going to get more noise from a Daystar, nature of them.
You have weak springs / combined with that type of lift when hitting any type of holes/curbs/ bumps it will hit hard enough to hear what you are.
But do check everything over, hopefully you tightened the sway bar links after full weight was on the ground etc.
Also if you haven't done it, install teraflex bumpstops, it will keep you going a few more miles until the shocks blow out

Thanks for all the info. Tommud, I plan on going full suspension lift once I get back from my deployment this time next year. I know I should've just waited but I want to put bigger tires on now.

Thanks everyone for the help. My brother in law (mechanic) and I installed it together. Were going to the auto hobby shop to check all of the bolts tomorrow and ensure everything stayed tight

Turns out it was the sway bar disconnect... Bolts were a little loose. Tightened them up and we are good to go. Thanks all for the input

Thank you for your service, glad you got it figured out. How about a pic with it sitting on flat ground?
