KK Accessories - Mopar & Others

Hello all,

New to the forum.

Just got a 2010 Liberty Sport and I wanted to hear some opinions from those of you out there that have added some accessories.

Specifically, I want to get floor mats (rubber/weatherproof) and a rear cargo liner.

The McNeil 'Weathertech' line costs a fortune but I know they make good quality stuff.

I'm wondering how the Mopar accessories from the catalog stack up? They also offer slush mats (front and rear) and a cargo tray that is about $120 for both from Jparts.com, as opposed to app. $220 for the McNeil setup (And that's front mats only and cargo tray).

Anyone have experience with a new KK Liberty and either of these mats?

Thanks!

I have the Mopar Slush ones and they are OK but the dont stack up to WeatherTechs in the slightest.

Thanks for the reply. So you think they are worth the extra scratch?

What's your biggest complaint with the Mopar ones? Is it the fit?

My only complaint is that they dont go up the sides of the floor so they dont cover as much as the WeatherTechs. Besides that there good.

Ok thanks - I just don't think I can afford the WeatherTechs at this point so it's gotta be the MOPAR stuff. Thanks again for your input.

I have WeatherTech in mine and the wife has Husky in her's. Both work fine in mud, snow, rain, slush and everything that we have run across.

So I bought the MOPAR stuff from Jparts.com and just got them today.

I have to say I'm quite happy with the quality, fit and finish. I agree with your point, Elt, that they don't cover the entire floor area, but for the money, I'm very happy. They look good, fit well and are pretty heavy-duty.

Of course, with it being 80 degrees and sunny here in NY, I haven't had a chance to really put them to the test, but so far so good.

Thanks again for your help.

Yes, but unfortunately we don't have a ton of places to off-road here on the 'Island. I'm sure there are some, but I don't know of any.

On a side note, I am now looking for clear reflector lights - the ones on the corners of the front bumper -- anyone know where I can get these? There's one guy on Long Island that has a tricked-out Black KK (I think he's Jeepin' It Real on Lost Jeeps), I'm gonna ask him too.

Yes he is very helpful. It's funny because he actually lives about 10 minutes from me!

If anyone else is interested, they are actually just the European ones, but they don't light up. Jeepin's giving me his contact over there where he got them from, they cost about $75 with shipping from across the pond.

Roof rack Cross Bars whatcha got ?

My 2010 came with the factory topside mounted roof rack but no cross bars. I've always had cross bars on my SUV's and really wanted to add them to the Liberty.

OEM Mopar cross bars seem to be pretty expensive so I started looking elsewhere.

I found some on ebay...gave them a shot and like them alot. I also added the Thule Fairing/Wind Delflector...helps with noise...aerodynamics and looks pretty cool too.

I paid around $69 for the cross bars DELIVERED to the house and around $63 DELIVERED for the Thule Fairing...not too bad.

Pictures will be added.
