Mine is scheduled for delivery Monday. I should be able to report back Tuesday although I don't know if I can wait that long. Trying to not get too worked up in case it doesn't even work lol

I wonder if you'd need the K&N for the 4.7 instead of the 3.7. Could be a good upgrade. Interested to see how we'll it works

The intake tube for the K&N intakes is vehicle specific. A K&N for any of the compatible 4.7 vehicles will most likely not fit in the same location as it does for our Libertys. The only thing I'm thinking is that it may need an adapter for the different size TB

In regards to fitment all you would need is a coupler that would reduce the size from the 3 or 3.5 to 2 or 2.5 no?

Then again would that defeat the purpose of doing it in the first place? I'm not sure.

Should be taking in more air since the butterfly is bigger, too. More air with less effort should yield some sort of result. I'm watching this carefully.

The stock TB is 2.5" and I'm not sure what the stock intake tube diameter is but I think it's 3". So it reduces 3" to 2.5". The 4.7 TB is 3" so it would be 3" to 3" straight through

Edit: Just looked up the info on the K&N intake. It has a 3.25" to 2.75" adapter to fit the intake tube to the TB. I am thinking the 4.7 TB is going to need a 3.25" to 3.25" straight through adapter
