I actually ran three 10 gauge wires into the cab from the engine bay for ground, hot, and an aux line. It is a bundled wire so all three wires are together making it really neat. I ran that bundle into the center console then connected to my switches accordingly. I used a post in the engine bay for the grounding.

Took a quick shot of how I have my wiring setup in the engine compartment. Picture of relay, and where I entered through the firewall for my Offroad Hella 500s lights.

That would make things easier but the kc harness only runs the supply and load wires into the cab. Then there is an independent ground wire to attach to switch then ground in cab. Guess I'll just have to get in there and find some bare metal

Ok. Hopefully my last question before I finish installation......

1. Instead of direct to the battery terminal, can I run the relay power and attach to the positive cable that is attaching to the fuse box right behind the battery? Incidentally, can I also run the power feed going to the switch to this as well?

Yes. That is were I attached my wiring. You can run the power for the switch and relay on that terminal. Can't wait to see the bar mounted.

Connecting the power to the relay direct from that spot is fine, but I recommend running the switch power off of a source that is only on when you have the accessories turned on such as the 12v outlet/cigarette lighter. This way you can't accidentally switch the lights on while the vehicle is off and drain your battery.

Nice touch with the color match on the light bar, makes it look almost factory!

That looks pretty sharp. I definitly liked that you painted it to match the jeep. I believe I may tap into an aux hot to make the lights turn off with the key out. jsburton84...were did you tap into and do you have a picture? Much appreciated!

Thanks to all for the "thumbs up". Staub beat me to the punch. Where did you hook into auxiliary power? Right now I have everything to the battery so lights can be on when car is off. Don't like that so please......as staub asked tell and show pics if your able to! Assuming you did it in the engine compartment (cause I don't have enough wire to run into the cab without adding an extension.
