I think I am about to go Jeepless

I think I am about to go Jeepless by selling my 2011 KK. It always did what I asked of it, but I feel it is time to move forward with a little more room. I purchased the KK with it's number 1 duty to be used as a Toad behind the motorhome. Which it was an excellent purchase for that one time I did use it as such.
But, I always said that if Ford would make the F150 four wheel down towable I would be dragging one behind the motor home. Well, I just found out yesterday that as of 2012 the F150 4x4 is towable 4 wheels down. So I am looking at trading the KK in on a 2013 Ford F150 FX4 loaded to the gills.
While I look forward to the extra room that the interior of the FX4 the power of the Eco-boost engine, I will miss owning a Jeep.
I have spent the morning removing all the extra wires that I had installed for tow lights, aux brake system, extra interior 12v power. I also removed the Jeep Tread complete mat set and put the correct 70th Anniversary Edition mats back in. I figure that once I get the FX4 home I can always sell the Jeep Tread pattern mats as well as my set of Huskey liners on Craigslist to recoup some of what I paid for them.
Been fun, take care!!!

Good luck. You will miss the Jeep, but I'm sure you will enjoy the Eco-boost. Post up a picture if it all goes well!

Sorry man but if it's any consolation the KKs will never be remembered as a good example of what Jeep does. For what you are looking into I'd say your head is in the right direction assuming a TJ or JK is not an option and gas is not a biggie.

At least you are getting a Ford. If my next vehicle isn't a Wrangler, it will be a Ford. Good luck and post pics when you get it!

No chance of keeping the KK and getting the F150 as well? Good luck with it.

It is Official. I am now Jeepless once again.

The new FX4 is pretty darn nice. Power of the eco-boost is amazing and the MPG ain't bad for it's size...kind of in line with the KK as of now. But then the FX4 only has 58 miles on it.

I'll post a few photos later. FWIW, you haven't gotten rid of me, I'll still be checking in from time to time.

It just didn't make enough sense to keep it. That would have been 5 cars and a motorcycle for a two member household and that's without counting the motor home.

Listen, until pics are posted, you never bought the Ford lol. Enjoy the truck though! They're nice, they just lose me with the whole v6 stuff. I'm old fashioned and love v8s(for a 20yr old thats rare nowadays lol)....and its a Ford

Hey Jon,

It's been and you always been helpful don't be a stranger. I have to admit when I had Chevy Silverado LT 4x4 Crew Cab for a couple of days I really liked it. One thing is that you don't need a camper the darn cabin is so big in that truck, I think my voice echoed in it.

Good Luck
