Help: jeep liberty 2009 8" ROOF antenna NEEDED

As my garage door was opening, I (snapped off the screw part of the antenna) on my jeep liberty. It's the 8 inch screw-in antenna and I been searching all over the internet and can't find one.
Maybe it's because I'm not using the correct wording or don't have a part number.
Can someone help me out?
Also, it looks like I will need a special tool to remove the top part of the antenna housing?

Go to Jeep Liberty Parts - The Official Jeep Parts eStore offered by Chrysler , Go to electrical, go to Radio, Antenna, Speakers, DVD, and ..., then go to antenna. Maybe that will help

If you are talking about the mast, I purchases a slightly shorter universal version (one with several thread adapters) off eBay for my 09. Shorter means a little less signal, but it does not hang up in my garage door. They are a fairly standard screw in thread, no tools needed. Guys at the garage routinely unscrew them when working on the car... err.. sorry... jeep :-).

Tearing them off is common.

Where did yours snap off? Near the base?

It snap off at the screw, the screw broke in 1/2.
1/2 of the screw is in the Base and the other 1/2 is in the Antenna.

That 1/2 screw may be a PITA to get out. If you can't grab what is left of the screw, you may need to use a small drill and easy out. You won't be able to get at it from under the cap. Perhaps there will be enough friction between the broken parts to ease it out, they are not that tight. I'm sure the dealer or a stereo installer has dealt with many of these

I just realize 1/2 screw broken in the base?
How do I remove the 1/2 screw?

Using a left handed drill bit would probably be best. If not, you can then is a easy out to get it out

If I purchase a screw tap, I can tap out the screw and back it out.
