heater issues

Hey all, happy winter. My wife has a 2008 kk and we ate having problems with the heater. It blows cold on the driver side however it is warm on the passenger side. I have checked the coolant level and it was slightly low so I added some more and that didn't do anything. I removed and sprayed the blend door actuator and that seemed to help a little but now it is cold again. Does anyone have any ideas before I attempt to flush the heater core and see if that does anything. If you think I need to flush the heater core can you please send me a link to instructions how get it out. Thanks!

Broken blend door.
I have the same problem and when I looked into it is a costly repair and not sure how to do it myself.

"The blend air door is broken -- they were all manufactures using the same heater box and doors as one with dual system--inorder to repair heater box will need to be removed inorder to replace the blend air door"

My understanding is that's a 6 to 8 hour job.

Guess I'm just going to shut the vents on the drivers side and deal with it.

Let me know if you find anything else out.
