Heater:to fix or not to fix, that is the question

My heater blend doors are starting to stick, the air outlet will not change position or change with a klunk ( still intermittent ).If I do it now , I can do it in my driveway but if I wait, winter will be here and at -20c ,taking the dash apart in my driveway is out of the question. The $1,000,000 question is should I wait and hope it will not get worst or take it apart now

Pretty sure they have a fix for us. Don't think you have to take the whole dash apart.

Heatertreater fix seems to be a coolant cut off for our model, that will not fix my problem as its the outlet not the temperature my problem.
My Hayes-Ligon manual shows me how to remove the dash but for a KJ not a KK .
