Head Unit replacement

I just purchased a 2008 KK. Love it so far. I am getting ready to upgrade the head unit to an Apline I already own from my old ZJ. I spoke with the guy at Crutchfield to see what I needed. He sent me the following link:

My question is this: my build sheet doesn't say I have a factory amp. The $100 wiring harness he says I should buy allows me to reuse my factory amp. Is this the correct harness? Or am I paying for something I don't need? Thanks for your help!

I don't have the amp either and just used the cheap $15 harness. Iirc all I had to do was splice into the cig lighter power outlet for acc power.
They told me the same thing with the expensive harness.

Thanks At The Helm. I knew that seemed ridiculous.
