Gas mileage

When I fill up my tank does not burp it lets the hose spill gas everywhere. So the dealer is replacing my tank d/t a faulty vent. My question is will this improve my sucky gas mileage?
It seems that it's getting worse

+1. Winter blend gas, warm ups, stop and go, 4WD, all add up to sucky gas mileage during the cold winter months.

There was a recall on the 08. Call the dealer

I think its more a warranty extension than a recall for the fuel tank

I've wondered the same thing. Still haven't had time to get it done.

I've been getting lousy (12-13mpg) lately with BP.

This includes remote start warm ups and playin in the snow but getting lousy mileage in my toyota too using it

I use them both and haven't noticed any real difference in mileage. I use Hess more because it's the same price per gallon cash or credit.

With both vehicles I owned, I seemed to burn through Hess gas. Stopped using it for that reason. Last time I used it, I had a gift card lol
