exhaust on a bone stock kk

I have a 2008 jeep kk sport 4wd. I was looking into a new exhaust system and I had a few questions.

1-do I need a CAI or a tuner to install a exhaust?

2- any suggestion on a nice sounding exhaust that has a bit of masculine sound and not a ricer sound. (Affordable)

3-are cai beneficial to the performance of a stock jeep?

Im used to driving truck where cai help alot.

You can install just the exhaust and be done with it.
Unfortunately the 3.7L will never really sound too head turning, especially with the hanging revs.
I like the Gibson exhaust. A few others have it installed, too.
I'll keep my mouth shut about the CAI cuz the Jeep Gods will just tell you not to get one.
CAI sounds great, but you probably won't notice the difference. That being said, I have one installed and like it.

Its pretty much a No, No, and No on that. The stock intake is a cold air induction that does benefit the jeep as much as it can handle.

Try a muffler delete first and see how that goes.

CAIs only trick your mind into thinking you have gained 500 horsepower due to the sucking sound. Thats it, nothing more. The stock airbox does an excellent job of providing cool air ( not hot like from a CAI)
Muffler same way, no power gains , just some sound, Magnaflow sounds good, little more tone but thats it
Tuner helps at wide open throttle a little
