Everyone's Take on HubCentric Rings for Wheels

So I got my wheels on the other day and the tire shop here told me that since the diameter of my hub on my jeep is smaller then the inside diameter of the rim I should get these hubcentric rings so the weight of the wheels & tires aren't all riding on the lug nuts. You can get them here:

So I've been reading up on this from what i've seen online and people have mixed emotions about it.

What is everyone's opinion?

Have a Happy Easter!

I think you mean the weight of the vehicle isn't riding on the studs and lug nuts...

As long as the are machined to exactly match the hubs and I.D. of the wheel openings I can't really see a problem with em.

Sorry that is what I meant.

The issue is as with the other posts they arent fitting snug maybe abour 3/8 of an inch but they seem to center fine with the studs and lug nuts. So the issue becomes since they aren't exactly matching do I buy these rings to make them match?

If you're talking about wheel spacers, then your best bet is lug and hub centric - Spidertrax and Rough Country ae both hub and lug centric.

I just spoke with Pro Comp directly and all of their wheels are lug centric and he assured me that there is no need to buy a hub ring.
