Driving without Passenger Seat

Does any if you know if I can remove passenger seat on my jeep 2012 KK and drive?
Does the vehicle start? And no issues with airbag getting deployed?

If you don't mind my asking. Why would you want to do it?

In my general car knowledge, which is very vast w/ euro imports, the car should start and drive no problem. Your dash will illuminate like a christmas tree.
Just to be sure, before pulling out the seat, unplug all the harness's underneath. Then try to start the car.

If you want to kill the dash lights, pull the fuse. Just make sure you don't shut off your airbag when doing so.

I am not sure on Jeeps but most makes require the air bag light to be reset by the dealer if one of the airbag is disconneted and the key turned on or driven with one of the components unplugged.

My guess is for hauling something.
If that's the case, just fold the front seat down.
If doing it for hypermiling purposes.... and more power to ya.

Doing whatever you can to increase mpg... sometimes minor, like altering driving style and bumping up tire pressure, or EXTREME like removing seats.
I'm one of them. That's how I get decent mileage.

Highway is always over 20.
Was getting 16.5 before mods.

Most is in my signature.
K&N cold air intake, Hypertech Max Energy, Gibson exhaust, bug deflector, ScanGauge2, and lift.
For driving technique, I try to avoid short trips, and put it in drive IMMEDIATELY after starting her up, and rarely come to a complete stop or touch my brakes. I've got the lights timed pretty well in my area.
If only the KK could coast like a car.
