Delayed door locks at vehicle exit?

I was wondering if anyone has every come across or installed a relay or device that allows for a delay in the doors locking upon exit. My Suburban allows me to use the door switch or remote to lock the doors but doesn't actually lock the doors for 30 seconds, allowing people to get out of the vehicle or giving you access to the rear seat or cargo area to get stuff out before the door locks cycle.

I'm so used to that feature that I keep locking people in or have to unlock to access the cargo area because I use the lock-switch on the door.
