Damned Air Dam

So I've searched and can't find any definitive answers regarding removing the air dam and having a large loss in mpgs. (Over 1-2 mpgs lost are what I consider major)

Any thoughts?

didn't notice a difference at all. Just remove it and try it out, you can always put it back on.

Didn't notice a difference without it either. I imagine that the difference is negligible

I didn't notice a difference. I would have taken it off either way though. Looks so much better without it IMO.

As Sagerist said, take it off, it is so easy to remove. You can put it right back on if you are unhappy.

I think I'm the only one that likes the look of it on.

I prefer the look of my tires, especially when they are brand new and meaty!

If I hadn't removed mine it'd be ripped off by now for sure. One steep hill and it's all over.

Oh I understand the functional reason for removing it. If I do any wheeling other than the beach I'll take it off, along with my"mud"(sand) flaps but they'll go back on.
