curiosity

I am just curious as to what the gender population is on here? Is the Liberty KK truly a "feminine jeep?" Cheers

On the forum its mostly guys and a few women.

The KK as a whole its hard to tell.. Probably less female drivers than the KJ.

Yeah, this forum is not going to be an accurate representation of the diversity of men and women that drive KKs

Heres a quote from Allpar

"The Jeep Liberty is designed to appeal to customers who are looking for Jeep 4x4 capability as well as comfort and convenience. It is targeted to young couples and new families, as well as professional, young single men and women between 30 and 40 years of age, balanced male to female.

Original is at 2008 - 2012 Jeep Liberty - description, photos, details, specifications http://www.allpar.com/trucks/jeep/liberty-2008.html#ixzz2cixOj52s"

More females are seen in the KK than KJ from my travels

It'd be nice to see some stats if someone has actually researched this.

Most of the KKs and KJs around here are driven by women. Most are black or silver with chrome grilles, too.

Wisconsin/Minnesota area. Seems like 95% women driving KJ's and 50%/50% in KK's.

50-50 in any Jeep, especially Wranglers.
And I'm betting 90% have never been in 4 wheel-drive or are 2WD.
Never understood why there's a 2WD "Jeep".

I'm a guy and bought a 2012 kk because it was the only vehicle that would do EVERYTHING I needed it to do. 4X4, tow my camper, flat towable behind motorhome, looks good, it's a latitude so it has all the creature comforts, drives through deep water, rides great. Not as macho as a wrangler but cost a lot less. Buy it or drive it because it meets your needs or makes you happy, screw what anybody else says or thinks!

Rarely do I see a male driving a KK. The only guy driving a KK that I talk to is Poncherello. I still owe him a test drive so he can confirm my mods are worth buying.

I drive a 2011 4x4 Jet. I bought mine because it meets all my needs, and it looks good doing it. I am an emergency manager and when others can't make it to work i have to be able to. In my opinion its more "masculine" but to each their own!

It would be difficult to take a poll even if you were to research on who purchased a Lib. It could be under the husband's name or the wife's with the opposite one driving. Moreover, an individual could of purchased a lib for their son or daughter.

Tell you what and not to move off subject; with some of the difficulties I been having with my Lib I contacted Chrysler LLC. After they reviewed my history a case manager extended my powertrain warranty from 5yrs/100K to 7yrs/Unlimited mileage at no extra cost to me. Thought that was pretty cool.

When you get knee-deep in a situation, floor it.
