Cabin air filter

Does the 09 KK sport have a cabin air filter. I looked for it but couldn't find it at all.

I think it was an option. My 08 Sport doesn't have one either.

Any ideas on a quality air filter for my jeep then? Not sure if I want to go with the K&N factory style one or not

Next question...assuming it has one, where is it located on a 2011? Can't seem to find info in the manual.

The 2008, if it would have had one, would have been behind the glove box. I'd start there. Also, I don't think K&N akes a cabin air filter. I bought a Fram one (its actually a set of 2). If anyone wants it, it's yours for the cost of shipping

If your jeep doesn't have a cabin air filter, you can retrofit it. I did that using MtnLuvr's how-to on LOST, and it has been so worth it. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB...ic.php?t=41921

Don't let the length of the writeup deter you. It is extremely detailed and well-done and easy to follow if you take your time. The results? 12,000 miles of crap I didn't have to breathe. This is the third set of filters I've changed out since retrofitting the Jeep. The filters start out white and look like this when they're done.

I gotta replace mine, checked it the other day and it was pretty bad(should be at 26K miles lol). Anyone got a part number to try to find or am I better off asking the dealer for them?

Never go to the dealer... Go to advanced auto or auto zone. You can get a new one for cheap.

they don't have them unless they started carrying them within the last 6 months
