Buying OME Lift Kit ( newbie questions)

Hi everyone

I've searched this forum (which is great btw) and I've decided to go with the OME lift but I have a few questions. Is the 927/731/N132L combo the one I should go with? and do I need to buy the Als A-arms? I'm not mechanically inclined so any help is appreciated.

Yes. and not necessarily, but you should get the arms if you have the budget for it as it will end up being something you will probably have to do down the road.

You have taught us all well tom! although some of us (not me) are more stubborn than others in accepting the fact that this lift is the way to go!:

Hey, if you have the coin, the adjust a strut is a better choice, pricy though.

Hi all

Thank you for all the helpful responses. I bought the OME 927/731/N132L combo but I don't have enough for the UCA. So I'll save up and buy them later. Till then I'll wait to put the lift on, I want to do it all at once and correct the first time. Also what should I use for rear bump stops? Do I need rear bump stops?

You can use hockey pucks in the rear. Also if you want more height you can get the 1/4" top plate and/or do a clevis lift(up to 3/8"). Idk how high you can go before the stock a-arms give you problems. Tom would have to answer that part. Any questions though about more height etc just ask us

Why not install your lift now??
Then later when you can afford to get new UCAs also do the top plate and clevis and there ya go!

I would but I don't know how to put the lift in myself so I would have to pay someone. The dealership quoted me $1350 which is out of the question. So I'm searching for auto places that would do it for much less and I'd rather pay once.

That's almost triple what I paid.
