Bumper Trim

I've done it to my WJ and it's time to do it to the KK. Anyone trimmed to avoid minor rubbing issues? Share pics so I can get an idea?

I did it more for approach clearance and not to clear bigger tires, mine never rubbed.

Nice. I have similar baja style cuts on my WJ. I just need to shave some from the inside fender/bumper so my wife doesn't catch and rip off the bumper at full lock.

Looking to do this in the next few weeks to get a little better approach angle as well. Any pointers? things to look out for when cutting? My stock bumper is already pretty banged up as it is so I'm not terribly worried about it as I'll eventually fit it with a steel bumper once I have the funds.

It'd be nice if there was some way to get this look without hacking off half of the bottom of the bumper. It looks great from the front but don't the cuts really show from the side? I wonder if you could put strain relief cuts in it and then fold up the lower portions of the bumper and use a plastic welder to fix them in the higher position. Might look nicer and more "professional" when complete.
