Ok color me blind but I was looking under the front of my '11 and I see no where to attach tow hooks or the "D"'s. what m I missing

Bolt right up to the frame on each side

There is a hardware kit that you'll need also. It usually comes with the tow hooks. There are two types, one with a bent stud called an M bolt and one with stud plates. You want the stud plates. There is a thread on lost that discusses it.

Right in the opening in the front bumper you'll see holes in the frame on each side, the same but opposite on each side. M bolt gets threaded through the two small holes and the u nut and bolt go on just next to that. Easy install but is pretty cramped up there.
