Battery Keeps Dying

So I'm having a problem with the battery dying. I've had the battery checked and I've been told that the battery is fine. The suspicious thing is that the KK acts like I'm pressing the lock button on my key fob, even when I'm not. The horn honks and the door lock motors do their thing. Something in the Jeep is not shutting off, I suspect the TPIM may be bad, but just had it replaced by the dealership about 2 years ago.

Any thoughts?

Bad or failing batteries can cause the symptoms described. I would get it tested at another outfit to be sure! Maybe when voltage gets low the locks and horn go haywire?

Sounds like it could be the power module?

I would also suspect the radio/cd player. I have heard mine making noise 5 minutes after vehicle has been turned off. But the real way to track it down is measuring amp draw at the battery while you pull fuses.

Hey willifordg,

What model year and type of engine do you have? This information will help me look further into your concerns.
