Backspacing

OK I know there is tons of posts on here about which backspacing to use, but i want to make sure i get this right. I have a 2012 Jet. Im upgrading my rims to 16x8 and 30.5 tires.

I am using fuel revolver rims part number D52516802645 and BF Goodrich 245/75R16 tires. I am also installing the OME 1.5" lift hoping to get about 2.5" of lift.

So my question is, the rims have a back spacing of 4.5in and an offset of +1. Will that work? Id like my tires to just barely stick out of my wheel wells.

If you're going 8" wide rims I recommend a 265/70-16. It won't stretch the sidewalls as much, but you may have some rubbing on the pinchweld (strong possibility of that with the 245/75-16s just because of the rim specs).

Anyways, 16x8 with 4.5" of backspacing will hang out the flares by about 1/4" or so.

8 inch wide wheel needs 5 inches of backspacing
7 inches wide you can do 4 inches of backspacing
both of course on a lifted Liberty
yes 1/2 inch makes a difference in turning radius
and like mentioned 265-70-16s ( same height as 245-75-16s) work better on a 8 inch wide wheel
