I have a kicker l7 with a kicker zx1000.1 amp that i had in my previous vehicle with an aftermarket headunit. I was considering putting it in my 2010 kk that already has the stock infinity subwoofer that just isnt cutting it. Without replacing the factory headunit what would be the easiest way for me to hook my amp up to the radio? Thanks

I hate to resurrect this thread but my question may help others.
I recently bought a 2012 Liberty limited. It came with the generic radio with Sirius. I wanted the touchscreen (didn't care about nav, though), so I bought a high speed RBZ. I was told there wouldn't need to be any programming so I swapped them out on Saturday night. Sunday was fine. I went to start the Jeep earlier tonight and the battery was beyond dead.
I've only had the Jeep less than a month but I'm almost certain the new unit was at fault. I'm just puzzled why?
It's factory, it was previously in a Dodge as that is the logo that comes up on the screen when I turn it on, but still not sure why it would drain the battery?

Anyone have any ideas? I was looking at forums and it was running 10.0.0.xx software (something like that)

Thanks for any help!
