Timing is everything my friend... so are "savvy" car buyers.
Never pay sticker price... always aim for 1% below invoice, and always wait til the end of the month or year to buy a new vehicle.

I paid 1% below invoice, which was just under 1300 off plus 3000 rebate so I started out just over 25k for mine but I thought you were talking sticker price....

My girlfriend is considering an Arctic Edition to replace her KJ. I'm sure it has something to do with her being a native Floridian and moving up to the "frozen tundra wasteland of the Midwest" (her words).

I'm going to forward this thread to her. Before her KJ, she owned an XJ (which she let me drive a couple times and got me sucked into Jeep). If any of you have any pointers beyond what I've read in this thread, I'm sure she'd appreciate it!

Depends on your region. Different regions have different rebate allowances. right now there are 3000 and 4000 rebates from what I've seen.

Location is key, too. Texarkana sucks for buying ANY new car. Going shopping in Dallas or Shreveport can save literally $5,000 plus! I don't understand it, but an informed shopper can save big bucks!

Arctic Pictures

If anyone can post arctic pictures it would be appreciated. We are looking to go test drive one but we have to drive about 100 miles to get to the nearest dealers in Miami area.
