Anyone used the spare to find out...

...the jack is not high enough for a stock Jeep on original front tire?

But full size spare are awesome.

The stock jack should be fine. Maybe you're jacking it up from the wrong location.

I found out the stock jack is too short when you have a lift! I need to find a short piece of 2x4 to carry in the trunk, to give the stock jack a little more height. Long term solution would be a Hi-Lift jack.

I was wondering the same thing with my 2 inch lift.

I saw an extended base for the scissor jack at one of the festivals. It was like $70 though. It raises the jack up. Somewhere between 2"-4"
