air dam removal

hello, whats the trick to remove my front air dam. do the black knobs just turn and come off? and the other ones just pull off? seems like it should be easy, not helping thats its 10 degrees outside. on another note. pep boys has 245/70/16 cooper atr tires on sale for $99.00 each.that seems like a great deal.i dont do much offroad.what do you think. thanks...ken

There should be 3 or 4 white looking caps that hold the air dam on.
They are very easy to spot and remove.
Once you take them all out, pull dam off with some force away from the Jeep. One hand on the bumper, one on the dam. Might come off easiest by pulling from the sides of dam versus the middle.
Don't be afraid to apply force, you won't break anything.
The black knobs stay there and don't get removed.

No you turn the white caps and the air dam should slide forward. Also, you should fix your profile. You have a 2012 KK not 2012 KJ
