I think I'm about to break into single digits this tank. Right now, I'm below a 1/4 tank and have a little over 100 miles....

I get consistently 12 mpg, sometimes down to even 10.5/11 mpg doing majority short distance town driving. It's pretty cold over here right now, so in the summer I get closer to 13 mpg. Highway driving I actually get about 19-20mpg.

So much for the 16/22 figures Jeep advertises... I'd kill to get 16 mpg in the city!

That's nuts. For a while I used to tease Musclez and send him pics of my gauge (when he had his KK) showing how far I could go on a quarter tank. In the winter it's like 90 miles, summer I can get over 100 on the first quarter.
Pretty certain our gas gauges are weird in the KK because if I can get 100 miles on the first quarter, x4 would equal 400 miles, but that doesn't happen because at half a tank I'm usually at 160-175 miles and so on for the rest.

Its winter time
gas is crappy
takes more power to run them when they are cold
longer warm up times
more spinning if snow on the ground
plus IT'S A JEEP did you buy it thinking it was a Prius?
Like one guy told this kid the other day on another forum " Suck it up buttercup"
Drive it and enjoy it or sell it

Well, this Jeep gets more than double the mpg my last car did.
Last car didn't even have a working gas gauge, so I'm still amused by the simple things.
In the end, it all adds up. If you don't pay attention to your gas mileage, it could be detrimental as mpg can be a big sign when something is wrong.
Alright, time for bed. 6 more days of this overnight work crap. $$$

Oh I still watch mine in the winter but it is what it is
I just find it funny that people complain but yet brag about going out in the deep snow when no one else can with their wimpy little cars.
By the way ask lfhoward what my mileage was yesterday running to town and back when we needed parts for his

That's actually not bad for Winter. Better than a lot on this forum I bet.
