Ive had an electronic 4.7L throttle body for sale in the WK section for a few weeks and another member told me I should post it here to.

It originally came off a 2008 Ram with a 4.7L, I had it installed in a 3.7L WK for about a year. Removed the tb prior to selling the WK.

The throttle body bolts right up to the 3.7L intake manifold.

Sold.... thank you

I'm installing one this week on my 3.7L

Should be fun to see the improvements with this TB

I'll put it this way.. I installed the Viper TB and my Hypertech tune at about the same time, and now even with new, bigger, grippier tires, I can still leave a little rubber on my driveway pulling out in the morning

Also calling it the Viper TB compared to the 4.7 TB just sounds cooler

I purchased a 4.7 TB after reading about them here.

When I went to install it though, the intake manifold opening was only 2.5" in diameter just like the stock TB. Am I missing something here? Is there some spacer on it? It's an 08 KK btw

Also, the 4.7 TB wouldn't even fit on there. The alignment pins were in the wrong spots

Off of what vehicle did you get the throttle body off of?

It was a 2012 Ram 1500 with the 4.7.

It looked the same as the stocker but bigger. That still doesn't explain why my intake manifold was only 2.5 inches. Are other KKs different?

I cant tell you why your manifold was only 2.5 inches, but in terms of the install, installed the throttle body upside down. Its one of the easier ways to get it installed.

I just did this install last week and from everything I read, this is what other people did and its what I did and it worked.

The plug for the throttle body will now be on the top right instead of the bottom left.

I hope this helps.
