33 inch

do i need to get a lift if i get some 33inch tires? there is a set of 5 being sold locally for 1200 and i want to know if i need to invest more money than the 1200. The faster the better!! thank you guys

Yes, even with 31" tires you'll rub with stock springs. 33" tires would need a 4" lift and a lot of trimming.

1st how will you be using your Jeep? If just for show then no it's not worth it as you also must regear for 33" tires so add another $1500 or so for gears.

i ran 32s with no lift i think u could run 33s with the daystar lift and infact in 8 months i will be running that set up

My friend has over 4" of lift and 265/75-16(32s) and had some rub. He had to do a lot of trimming to get it to work. Then he re-geared to get his power back. I personally don't think it would be worth it.

Dang, I just checked the dates, this was really brought back from the dead huh?

Sounds like a $1200 headache. Especially at 12.5" wide. It's just not gonna work unless you have some very deep pockets

What is the actual size you run (255/75R17??) and what is the brand and model?
