I am looking to buy tires in the next two weeks or so and was wondering what kind of drop the people that went from the stock 225 size to 245/75/16 experienced. I have seen people state 1-2mpg to 3-4. Just wanted to get an idea of what I was in for. Also, now that you have gone 245, do you regret it due to the loss in power?

Driving style
weight of the new tires P rating, 6 ply/ 8 ply 10 ply
tread pattern ( Full on mud or AT type)
all also effect mileage besides the bigger diameter
But you'll lose 2-3 more than likely or more
regearing brings it all back almost
